BHStage Drama Club
The Drama Club at Brunswick High School prides itself on excellence in the performing arts with an emphasis on student ownership and professionalism. The theater program includes 90% of students who elect in theater as an extra curricular. Students can participate onstage or backstage and all productions offer students to grow in skills such as leadership, confidence, dependability, and timelines. We put on 2 productions each school year: a fall play and spring musical so students can receive enriching opportunities to expand their knowledge of the theater arts.
We also offer opportunities for students to meet in school during Connections to grow the club and expand into the community. Whether you love to sing, act, and/or dance, BHStage Drama has many opportunities to share talents and grow as an artist. Students may sign up for Drama Club and join the Schoology club group and parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer for the Drama Boosters.
The drama program at BHS receives no funding from the FCPS. We rely solely on generous donations and ticket sales to produce and fund every show. Please consider attending a production or supporting the Drama Boosters to support more theater arts opportunities at BHS.
